Located in a grand terrace in Notting Hill, this garden flat underwent a complete transformation from tired and cramped to light and spacious. We extended the kitchen to include a bright conservatory overlooking the courtyard garden, capturing more natural light. The lower ground floor was reconfigured to accommodate a laundry and a new ensuite bathroom.
To preserve the building’s original charm, we restored the shuttered windows and reinstated period plaster moldings, balancing heritage details with contemporary updates. Pale, luxurious finishes were chosen to create a calm and elegant retreat from the vibrant city outside.
