Located in Brisbane, Australia, Grove House is a cherished 1950s family home undergoing a thoughtful renovation. Our clients, a Singapore-based family, wanted to refresh their Australian home in preparation for retirement, creating a space that feels equally comfortable for quiet days at home and gatherings with loved ones.

With a focus on simplicity and elegance, we have:

  • Refreshed the exterior with a soft, neutral colour scheme.

  • Relocated the front door for better flow and curb appeal.

  • Replaced outdated aluminium windows with classic timber-framed designs to honour the home’s heritage.

  • Reimagined the kitchen and bathroom introducing a light, understated palette of off-whites, creams, warm timber..

  • Added a sweeping rear deck, complete with a servery window, perfect for easy indoor-outdoor entertaining.

  • Designed a moody powder room, adding a quiet sense of drama to contrast the otherwise soft and airy interior.

The result is an uncomplicated, inviting home, designed for ease of living and effortless enjoyment—a place to be shared, celebrated, and cherished for years to come.
